Plottermod

Plottermod was one of the first mods replacing the mechanical gyro which has a limited life time and limited flight capabilities.

This mod was implemented by Plottermeier.

It uses 2 piezo gyros instead of the mechanical gyro for nick and roll stabilisation. In difference to later mods like X3d there is no gyro stabilization and no heading reference lock.

The old mechanical gyro board ia reused and modified slightly. In addition, the following parts will be necessary: 2 piezo gyors, 2 resistors, 2 potentiometer, 2 capacitors.

Also the flight behavior will change: instead of absolut angle stabilisation the angle speed will be stabilased. There will be no limitations to the angle (and horizontal speed) anymore.
